Can’t hear phone calls

Hi
Since a few days i can not hear anyone on the call when answering on my watch. No one can hear me either. What is the issue here? Anyone experienced this before?

Both the phone and watch rings but the issue comes when i answer.
Answering on the phone works fine though.

This is usually caused by Bluetooth connectivity ie either being out of range or due to radio interference. I have never experienced this when iPhone is in very close proximity to the Watch but otherwise it happens sometimes.

Did you reboot both iPhone and Watch?

I answered phone calls with the watch connected on Wifi before; however, I find that watch have troubhe connecting if you have BT turned on your phone and watch and the BT connection between the phone and watch is weak.

Probably not the issue here, but if you have your headphones on, the Apple Watch could be sending audio through them. I had that happen to me this weekend I was using my beast, and thought I turned it off, but later my wife tried to call me & couldn't hear me, nor I her. Turns out they were still connected to the beasts, which were downstairs.
