Can't highlight words

I'm having an awful time trying to highlight words and sentences when I'm on Safari with my new iPad Air 2. I can't figure out if this problem originates with the iPad, Safari, or maybe even my Invisible Shield screen protector.

When I touch a word to Copy it when online in Safari, it just gives me a magnifying glass, and sooner or later the page starts scrolling and I can't stop it short of rebooting.

Has anyone else had this problem? If someone can help I'll be eternally grateful.

What version of iOS are you running? Make sure it's the latest since they've corrected some nagging issues with the latest update. Try that all first. After updating, clear your safari cache too.

See if that helps.

I just downloaded version 8.2 the other day. I did clear my 'History and Website Data' (my only choices) but I still have the problem.

I will say, this is a significant problem which makes using this brand new iPad Air 2 not half the fun of using my old Ipad 2. I also get a lot of double typing (not the problem of my Apple keyboard). Just lots of screen glitches with Apple's new iPad Air 2.

I sure hope Apple can fix this problem because using the iPad just ain't what it used to be.

Their contact information page should guide as to how to contact them. How exactly are you trying to highlight words? Just curious as to your workflow here.

My air 2 on 8.1.2 does the same, sometimes it works and sometimes just the magnifying glass shows, an sometimes it select all the paragraph with out letting me move the handle bars.

And this is a problem with safari only, on chrome or opera it works all the time.
