Can't install 3G Unrestrictor

Does anyone know if this enhanced (paid) version will ever be available for those of us still on 2.1?

Sling over 3g is fantastic. The Slingplayer itself was a great investment, so this hack makes it even more worth it. I recommend it

I think that o2 block iplayer on the network which is why it won't work unless you are on wifi, hence you are then not getting the signal from o2.

Therefore there is no way to hack it so that you can use iplayer over 3g.
 
What if you unlock and use a Vodafone SIM?

Would that mean that your IP would change to an unrestricted one, and you could access IPlayer?

No, if your on a UK Carrier, you will have a British IP, unless you happen to be abroad and then you will recieve an IP from a foriegn wireless cariier, who provides data roaming services for your carrier. Some of the UK Carriers could be 'filtering' iPlayer traffic, at the network layer. The only way around this is by using a proxy server, which is totally possible afterall, I can watch BBC iPlayer in the States via my winmobile phone, but to do that I am using a proxy server which is configured in the UK on Broadband. Very possible, just depends on how much work you want to put in to it.
 
Do you get a key after you purchase it-what happens once you upgrade to the next firmware update? Do you have to pay again?

Is it possiable to try it for free first?
 
Installation Problems 3G Unrestrictor 5

Purchased 3G Unrestrictor 5 through Facebook/Amazon Account.
The attached screen-shot comes up showing the Errors of why my Installation of 3G Unrestrictor 5 is never able to succeed. When returning to Cydia's Install/Modify Screen, the "Install" option is the only Option that is available, which after so many attempts fails to Install.
HELP !!! Sure do appreciate !!!

Get rid of appsync.
 
Thanks! Well, I'm kinda new at a of this, but I did a search inside Cydia and it showed Appsync with that green check to the right. I tapped on modify and then uninstall, and the attached screen-shot gave me this info. I tapped on that "spring" word that always reboots it back to the Unlock screen. I then for the nth time tapped on the 3G Unrestrictor Install it showed this 2nd attached Screen-shot. I then went back to the 3G Unrestrictor Install Screen and, disappointedly, it still showed the Install at the top, i.e., not installing it. Thanks, but any more ideas? Sure APPRICIATE !! P.S. ...seems like I'm unable to attach that 2nd screen-shot (but, it's the same as what's attached to my first Post)

I will keep trying to uninstall Appsync. Can I use my purchased Cydia iFile App and track down Appsync within my iPhone's Folders, and delete it that way? I did do that to the "patch sync" file, and iFile still shows it as "gone" even tho when Springboarding (Instal/ModifyUpdate) that listing still shows "patch sync" alive & well, with an Error code saying its sti getting in the way ???
Got to get to Work for the next 5 hours, but will return in a few to look for some HELP again from you all. THANKS !!!

I got rid of Appsync. Anyone that can help me with my problem, thank you, thank you! It (3G Unrestrictor 5) still is not installing: When I return to Cydia's Install/Modify Screen, the "Install" option is STILL the only Option that is available, with no prg/icon to click on in my 64gig iPhone5 that I've been playing with since Christmas. Do enjoy all this jailbreaking fun, tho. Trying to figure out ALL the "inner-workings" of the device. My 60 year old brain has a long way to go because of some mental blocks learned in my early "turned off" years...

Hi,
It looks like you already installed a pirated copy of 3G Unrestrictor (com.hackyouriphone.3gunrestrictor5). Please uninstall it first and then try installing 3G Unrestrictor from BigBoss' source again. There also seems to be a problem with the AppSync package, which I recommend uninstalling.
I appreciate you purchasing it instead of just pirating!

* * * * * Reading what you said, CLICK! *It never hit me to type in a Search of "3G Unrestrictor" and that brought up a version that was STILL installed. I uninstalled it, and TOTALLY was able then to install 3G Unrestrictor 5.
