Can’t install Intel Power Gadget

I can’t install Intel Power Gadget on one of my Intel Macs. It was no problem on 6 other Intel Macs with Monterey, just one machine a Retina MacBook 12” is refusing to install while a second identical machine had no problems. Now on Ventura already but same issue. ( the installer encountered an error….) I would be thankful for help. I have the same machine twice, no problems on the other one.

Some ideas:
- try from Terminal with

sudo installer -verbose -pkg /Volumes/Intel\ Power\ Gadget/Install\ Intel\ Power\ Gadget.pkg -target /

- try to install it with SIP disabled
