Can't install iPad app on M1 mac

New owner of an M1 Mac. Are there limitations of what iPad or IOS apps I can download/run on my M1 Mac? I use one called "My Vinyl for Jukebox Owners" that I can't see in my Mac App Store under the iPad/IOS section. Am I missing some limitations?

Contact the publisher of that app to see if he opted out of allowing it to run on a Mac.

Ah thanks. Re-reading the "how to" I see that publisher/developer action is required. I've spoken to him about other things and he doesn't seem too interested in doing much of anything. Thanks
