can't install quicktime

when I try to install quick time player, it tells me that there was a problem with the javascript.

The download wants to go to my MAC disk and I cannot change the destination.

How can I fix this?

Is the QTP the correct version for the OS you're currently running? QT is often updated as part of a general OS update. Then there's the issue of Javascript for Tiger version vs Leopard version. Check the Apple website for further information about that.

I checked apple site, nothing that I can find!

All of a sudden I do not have quick time?

I need to fix this.

What OS version are you operating? Try downloading QT from here http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ or here http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ and here http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=search&q=Java&fac=Downloads&archive=y

my comp was all messed up, had to reload with the factory disks.😡
