Cant jailbreak with 1.1.1

Hi All,

i got a problem with jailbreaking, and heres what happened.

i got myself a 1.1.2 ipod touch (comes preloaded) and so i went and downgraded the firmware to 1.1.1 however after doing that, and going to the jailbreakme.com website to click on the installapss link, nothing works.

safari will be loading the page for a while but after it goes back to the springboard, i dun see the installer icon at all. am i doing anything wrong? Can anyone please advice ?

that is normal going back to springboard, by the sounds of it the install never went to plan, power off the touch turn it back on go to the site click install app tapp and wait....... it will go back to the springboard (this is normal) and you should get eventually a message on screen about downloading programs, when it goes back to the springboard after clicking install app tapp give it a little while. I had one instance where I had to wait 5 mins before anythin showed on screen
