Can't launch camera from lockscreen

Randomly the camera icon on bottom right won't do anything on lockscreen. I can't drag up either. If I turn screen off then try again it might work.

Anyone experiencing similar?

On iPhone 6 and 8.0.2

I have the same exact thing happen to me at random times. I have a 6+ and it happened on 8 and 8.0.2

I've had the issue pop up a few times with the camera and Control Center both. However, it hasn't happened since the iOS update, but it could just be because I've been fortunate.

I haven't had the problem on my 6 but noticed on my 6 plus it only crops up if I'm holding my phone horizontally (ie in landscape). It works without fail if I start out in portrait.

Same. iOS 8.0.2 still has several little bugs
