I haven't spent much time exploring Spotlight Search or Siri Suggestions. I'm sure I'm missing out on something, but so far I haven't been able to find much use in it.

Anybody using these functions daily? Are they good at speeding up any tasks or improving your overall productivity?

I often use Spotlight to start Apps that I don't know of in which folder I put them. Spotlight is the fastest way to find them.

I use Spotlight search to look for contacts to call. Can't live without this feature.

It's a feature I turn off as like others I know where my data is. I regularly delete emails and messages I no longer need too so I don't need the search for that too.

For me 'Siri Suggestions' would be more useful if I could control what News Feeds appear.

Right now it's typically Politics Oriented News which maybe interesting for some but not for me.

I like this one. Might be easier than opening contacts. I'll have to try it from now on. Thanks!

I have 129 Apps. Lots of which I only use in certain situations. So sometimes there are months between uses and spotlight is quicker than manual searching.

One thing I find that could be nice, is when i have Netflix HBO Nordic and other video services installed is that I could just search for the movie or tv series on the spotlight page and be taken directly to it instead of opening all the different apps to find a movie or tv serie.

Spotlight search has always been available, so it's really part of the "old ways" as well.

It's not been that long for it to really become useful, but when I make a workflow in Workflow, write something in Drafts, or am doing something in Pixelmator, I will tag it @likethis, with stuff like @Photography, @writing, etc, and keep all that in a shortcut menu in Nintype. Sorta like using Finder tags in OS X.

I use Siri for web searches and calling people, otherwise I'd probably use Spotlight for that too.
