Can’t load web pages on London Underground wifi

On the London Underground WiFi, I can’t load web pages on any web browser (tried Safari, chrome, Google) but Facebook messenger works. WhatsApp doesn’t work. Does this give any clue on what the issue is? Is it a setting on my iPhone? Clearly there is an active connection as messenger works.

No mobile connection on the London Underground is great thing. The Underground used to be the last sanctuary from the hideousness that is the mobile phone.

I hope this is an inbuilt feature and all other manufacturers follow suit.

This is typical behaviour on a beta or not!
Some days are good, some are bad so try again non peak hours and report back
