iPad Can't Log Into YouTubeTV App

I have been a Youtube TV subscriber for a few years now - watching exclusively on my TV.

Now I'd like to also watch Youtube TV on my iPad's YoutubeTV app. Unfortunately, the app isn't allowing me to log in using my Google credentials. All I get when trying to watch Live TV is either a "Video Unavailable" message, or an icon with a lock (which is unclickable). I've already tried updating my playback location, but that hasn't helped.

YouTubeTV works fine on my TV. I'm only having this problem with the iPad app. (My iPad is a brand new iPad Air running the latest iOS (26).

Any ideas on what to try to get this working?

...and your suspicions are correct! It turns out that I do indeed somehow have two Google accounts -

I know Account#1's username, but forgot its password. This account is being used on my TV (Roku Premiere) and functions properly. This is the account that's currently active on YoutubeTV.

I know Account#2's (different) username AND password. Account #2 is the one that I tried when first setting up the YTTV app on my iPad. Of course it doesn't work at this point because YTTV doesn't recognize it.

- So, would it be best to simply add Account#2's credentials to my YTTV login on my TV as an additional account? Or would that somehow screw things up, because I don't want it to look like I'm purchasing an additional YTTV membership? If that works on my TV, it should then also work on my iPad's YTTV app, right?

I just want to make sure that, in trying to set up the iPad app, I don't screw up what's been working fine on my TV.

- Or is there a better, simpler way?

Sorry for my ignorance/naivette. I hope I've expressed my current situation clearly.

Yesterday, Google was having some backend authentication issues. I could not watch YT on my AppleTV. Kept getting error message and asking me to login to my account. It was fixed late last night.

I also noticed my automatic nightly backup from TrueNAS to Google Drive failed last night.
