Can't log on to .mac (mobile me) from system prefs...

So I'm trying to set up my mobileme cloud, but I'm having trouble. I'm running 10.4.11 or whatever the latest version of tiger is. And when I go to the sytem prefs pane of .mac, I log on, verify my password, but when I go to sync, it says log on failed. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am having this problem as well.

I had this on my wife's MobileMe account. What I did was to log her out and re-do the whole process. Signing in, re-creating the whole MobileMe stuff and it works. My wife runs on Leopard though.
