Tried to check in on greatclips.com using my iPhone 6 plus on 8.1, but couldn't bc the tab had to keep reloading itself. It was unreal. Can anybody else do this?

PS: please post the comments regarding greatclips somewhere else. I'm a dude and don't care about haircuts.

Do some research.
People claimed the phone would pull out people's hair

So it is possible this has NOTHING to do with the tab reloading, but rather a conscious design decision.

Ok, weird. The first time it didn't take me to their mobile site, which works. Desk top site still doesn't.

Your ridiculous, just download their app, I use it every month to check-in before getting there so I am taken care of as soon as I arrive.

Never have any issues.

First of all, it's "you're".

Secondly, I don't want an app that I use once a month cluttering a folder or my screen.

Sounds like you're trying to blame the phone for what is clearly a poorly designed website. The fact that the mobile site works and desktop doesn't should be a clue.

Agreed because I can't get that website to open on my Mac or iPhone 6 Plus. Thought for a minute there was something wrong with my ISP until I checked other websites that work perfectly.

Wasn't trying to place blame at all, tbh. I was actually laughing at how pathetic the situation was.

What? It works fine on iPad 3 and iPhone 5s (though they're on 7.x).

Sorry, you shouldn't have taken my post as antagonist towards you, though I can see how the wording could be taken that way.

Seriously? Blaming the website? Bad website design or not don't you think that if it works on PCs, laptops, netbooks etc. That it should at least work on a device like an iphone?

We've had multiple posters here say that the desktop versions n doesn't work consistently on macs, pcs, phones,etc.....

Yes, I'd blame poor coding at that point.

Well it's working on my iMac now. It was the only website that refused to render when I first tried it on both my iMac and iPhone 6 Plus upon you starting your thread. Seems like a badly coded website. I checked my iPhone 6 Plus and Great Clips works just fine. No reloading.

Thanks for the correction...

secondly you can just put it in a folder on 2nd or 3rd homepage and when ever you need it just use the spotlight search.

Yes they can make to work better with the iPhone, being a haircut place its clear they aren't investing that much money into something they have a dedicated and simple app for already.

just tried loading that site in desktop mode on my 6+, no problems. all that javascript made it a hair slow, but overall works great.
