Can't open apps?

For some reason I can't open any of my apps. I touch one to open it and it crashes and goes back to the app screen. I have rebooted my phone twice and it still happens.

Any ideas what is going on or how to remedy this problem?

you might consider a restore!

Correction... it seems just the 3rd party apps won't open or crash. Contacts, weather, stocks and et al apps work fine.

So I was just planning on un-installing them and re-installing them through iTunes and not doing a complete restore. If I do that... will I lose all the information stored in them? If I back up my phone upon the iTunes sync... will that information be saved?

you will loose any data with those apps... you could plug your iphone in back it up then do what you need to do... after everything is synced back just crtl click your iphone ( on the left side of iTunes) and click restore from back up.. that will put your data back!
