Can't open iCal anymore in 10.5.8

The icon bounces then I get the usual prompt that the program count be opened. I tried to reset it that way, to delete pref files and ^/Library/Calendars to no avail. No more ideas...
 
Deleted iCal, extracted with pacifist from 10.5.8 combo updater. Icons are messed up, but it opens up...
