I originally updated my iPhone 4 to iOS five and when holding down a link it would allow me to open new links in the background. Now, with my iPhone 4S, it won't allow me to open links in the background anymore. When holding down a link it shows "open" and "open a new page." It does not give me the option anymore to open links in background. Does anyone know why this may be happening? Anyone else experiencing this?

They moved this option to Settings>Safari. They felt it important enough to create a toggle for it.

Ah, you are fantastic! Thanks so much! I use background loading quite a bit and it makes web browsing from my iphone so much more enjoyable.
