Can't open URL in Notes app

I keep a note containing urls and comments beside them. The notes app will underline them and change the font color so it recognizes them as links. When touching the link, nothing happens.

Is this a known issue?

Also...

If you touch and hold the link for a couple seconds, an options screen shows with "Open" being an option. However, touching "Open" does not open the link in a Safari window.

Is safari off in restrictions?

My Restrictions setting is "off", so I don't think that's the issue. Thanks for replying.

Just tested and it does not work. It worked in 5.1.1 because I have notes still with links.
Hope apple fixes it!

Hmmm, I just tested it and it works fine on my iPhone 4 with iOS 6.

Just tried the two URLs below and they both opened in Safari.

http://www.google.com

google.com

Wanted to see if the http leader was required.

Got it working by deleting the link then retyping on the iPhone. I suspect the issue is in the sync with iCloud notes, because the links I added there are the ones that don't work on the iPhone and vice versa. Links added to notes on the iphone don't work in the iCloud version. Weird.
