I really want to play PC games on my Mac, so I tracked down a copy of Microsoft XP Pro and thought Boot Camp sounded pretty nifty.

So I open Boot Camp, set a partition of 20GB (does this sound good?) and clicked "partition". It did it's thing for a few minutes and then hit me back with a lovely message reading "Verification failed. This disc could not be partitioned. Use Disk Utility to repair this disk."

So, looking for some quick, free support, I call up my local Apple store and ask them if they have any suggestions. The lady told me how to repair, and it did, giving me a big list of fixes (I think). So I tried partitioning again, and nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

I know I'm a noob, but "fsck" makes me think of "f-disk" which makes me think of a bleached hard drive... you sure that tip is safe?
