Cant Partition on 10.5.7

I could before, but once I installed the update, but now I can't. Because some files can't be moved. I don't have Time Capsule to backup and I can't defrag with Drive Genius because it's needs to be on another volume. All I have is a flash drive but that wont work..

sounds like you are out of luck. you can always try downloading the bootable version of drive genius...

You can always try running Disk Utility from the gray restore disc and attempt to repair the drive, or the /sbin/fsck -fy command in single-user mode.
