im trying to install boot camp, but i get this error:
"The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved.

Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again."
how can i go around this without formating the disk?

I had the same problem as you, In the end I reformatted, becuase the only other solution is to pay $30 for a Programme called iDefrag http://www.coriolis-systems.com/iDefrag.php I dont belive there are any other solutions, I couldnt even find this programme in the torrents. Good luck
