iPad Can't play movies downloaded and on ifile

Before I got my new ipad I was able to use itransmission or xbmc(Kodi) and download movies that I would locate using ifile and could play them. I got a new ipad and lost the backup so I'm starting from scratch. I have ifile installed, Kodi etc but I can't play the movie(s) no matter what I do. I remember I would goto edit and then copy and paste the link into a player I had but all the ones I've tried don't allow this. I have VLC, Goodplayer, AVPlayer, Movie Player

How are you guys playing movies? I didnt have to sync or anything before.

I'm streaming off MovieBox, HD Cinema, and PayBoxHD.....using AirPlay with my AppleTV and.....boom!!! it's on the big screen.

streaming isnt the issue. Being able to download the movie and play it on the ipad for the plane or hotel room if I'm away.
