can't quit iTunes 11

trying to quit iTunes 11 on my 09' MBP with SL and it won't quit. after trying to quit and try to open - it won't open? the icon on the doc stays lit.

anyone else having this problem? 😕

a simple restart seemed to have fixed it. 😛
