Looking for some help please as Im struggling to open files on my MS-DOS formatted external HD.

Many months ago I copied a number of family camcorder files onto the ext HD so that I could view them on both my PS3 and Macbook Pro 2012, the HD has since been in storage.

Today I connected my HD to my Macbook (Mavericks) and tried to open one of the files, but couldn't. I had always thought that MS-DOS worked on both Mac & PS3?

Heres some screenshots...

it's not a question of ms-dos files, it's finding the application to read the files.

look up reading .mts for mac on google.

If you notice too, the VLC icon will have a christmas hat on it around this time of the year 🙂

Good to hear you got it sorted
