Can't record direct audio in iphone 12

Hi,

I'm trying to record direct audio from my mixer into my iphone 12 by recording a video.

I have the l;ightening port to female 3.5mm lead, i have the Rode SC4 TRRS jack to go into that, then im plugging a stereo mini jack into that which comes from my mixer.

For some reason i just cannot get audio into this phone.

Any ideas what im doing wrong?
