LaunchpadCleaner

Here's an easy way to delete or restore launchpad apps without using terminal commands or deleting/uninstalling any apps: :)

LaunchpadCleaner: A small, simple and free app that allows you clean up your Launchbar with a single click: http://zoltanb.co.uk/launchpadcleaner/

This is the kind of functionality Apple should have integrated into Launchpad from day one. At least there is a great developer community that closed the gap Apple created.

If you find that Launchpad isn't useful, you can always just remove it from the dock and not use it. It does seem to be meant for people that are fairly new to Macs and don't know where to actually find their apps. It makes it easy for them, because everything is in one place. But for those who have been using Macs for a while, chances are you already have a preferred method of managing this kind of thing, whether it's modifying the dock or launching apps through spotlight. Launchpad is just a new option. If you don't like it, take it out of your dock and move on with your life.
