I had some problems with one of the screws on the bottom when I changed the RAM, and the hole looks more like a round hole than the plus sign that the other ones look like. I'm just curious, what would happen if I want to insert an SSD later on but can't get the screw out?

The only thing I can think of is to drill through the screw, but that'll make it impossible to insert a new one afterwards...

Use a dremel and cut a groove in it is probobly the only way but dont use a disc you need to use a tiny bur (a disc will probobly knick the case). Next time use the right screw driver and this wont happen. Sometimes if there is anything left to grip you can get it out by using a really tiny flat head screwdriver, a pair of vice grips on the screw driver, push the driver down as hard as you can with your one hand and turn with the vice grips in the other hand.
