Cant remove SIM card from IPHONE 4

So I've been poking at the Sim Removal slot with a small paperclip all day and cant get the damn thing out....

Anyone have any tips or recommendations on how to get the slot open?

Sounds like it is broken. This is like impossible to "miss" the pin on the inside.

OP, you’re probably going to have to take the phone apart, if the sim won’t come out normally.

I found it really difficult the first few times, in fact used the included tool at first.
Now it will free up more easily with a paper clip.

if it's that stuck just take it to the Genius Bar, they will open the sim card tray for you...

You do have to push it fairly hard to the point where you think you'll break it. Then it pops up. I used a paper clip and that worked fine.
