This is the thread:

https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...school-kid-29-from-gun-advertisement.2108457/

When I click on Post Reply, the three buttons there go grey for about 5 seconds, then turn blue again. But my reply isn't in the thread. The text I've written stays in the reply box.

My reply doesn't have anything complicated in it. I've attached a screen shot.

I have tried reloading the thread. I have tried closing and reopening the browser.

I am able to reply everywhere else on MR that I've tried so far.

I think that that particular thread might have been locked, without the 'padlock' symbol having appeared.

The thread is open and you should be able to post there. I do notice there is a few second delay due to forum slowness, but I did a couple test posts and they worked.

Can you try again?

Nope, still have the same behavior. I click the Post Reply button, all three buttons turn grey for about 5 seconds, then turn blue and it is as if I never clicked the button.

I am able to reply elsewhere, including elsewhere in PRSI.

Anyway, it is certainly not important. Just a technical curiosity.

It seems to be a bug in the forum software, with no reason that thread should be different than other threads.

Would you try posting in the thread using another web browser, please?
