I wanted to increase the size of my windows partition. I tried to follow the steps for doing that with Native OS utilities in this guide http://guides.macrumors.com/Extend/Resize_Boot_Camp_Partition, but when I tried to extend it in windows it did not give me the option.

When I used Disk Utility to reallocate the space back to my Mac partition it did the steps to increase the disk size, but the size remained the same.

How can I increase my windows partition with my available space or at least put it back on my mac partition?

i did this a year ago. i downloaded winclone then basically store the image of the win7 partition. delete the partition, recreated a new partition, then restore the image.
