Hello All,

Today, I wanted to restore a movie from iTunes folder in my Home Folder in Time Machine. And I was surprised that all folders of my Home Folder were grayed out in Time Machine. So, I wasn't able to restore from my Home Folder.
I am using Time Capsule as my Backup solution. I can choose all other folders and items other then my Home Folder. Why do you think this happens ? It is really disappointing that not being able to anything from my Home Folder. I searched on the net but could not find anything regarding this issue. Is there any fix for that ? or Do I have to reinstall Lion again ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tolga

What happens if you navigate to your iTunes Movies folder in Finder then hit the Time Machine dock icon to launch time machine?

Yes it works the way you described. Thanks a lot for the practical solution. Why do you think that home folder is grayed out in time machine interface
