iPod touch Can't restore my ipod

I've messed up summerboard so I need to restore the ipod. I tried holding home and power down but that doesnt work. Its just hanging at the apple logo. Please help

When I plug my ipod into the computer the ipod turns on but hangs at the apple logo and doesnt show up in my ipod list. Please help me to restore

Restart iTunes and your iPod....

I did restart my ipod and its still not showing up in itunes.I messed up the summerboard process so I need to restore

Ok ive managed to get into recovery mode. It wants me to restore and update. Is that ok?

I got summerboard right on the second shot... Its worth it i think..

Use this kids video..cant go wrong. If i was a bettin man id say you messed up the permissions....
