Can't restore/update my iPhone

The bar on my iPhone keeps getting to about 65% of the way and then it stays there, for an hour. I unplugged, iPhone went into DFU mode, plug back in and the same happens. I've restarted my iMac, don't really know what to do. Anyone know what's wrong?

This is why:

Calling Apple won't help me, only someone who's had the same problem before can; which is why I came here.

You're phone is not working, why wouldn't apple help you?
