Can't Run Software Update

Guys,

Trying to run software update on my 10.4.6 mac mini intel. When I run it the dock icon shows up for about one bounce then goes away. Any ideas to fix? I tried repairing permissions. Didn't know where to start.

Try dragging com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist to the Desktop and rebooting. 🙂

It's in ~/Library/Preferences 🙂 (~ is your home directory).

Actually, mine lives in a blue magnifying glass, in the top right hand side of the screen. 😛
