Can’t save from Files App to Photos

I am unable to save photos and videos form the files app to the photos app. Is anyone having this issue ?

Yep. No Save Image option in the Files app. Had to send it to Darkroom app, which created a copy in Photos.

I had to drag the file into the Photos app.

You can still do it by opening the photo, and pressing on small down arrow to the right of the 3 dots in the left hand corner. However, if you want to save multiple photos from files are the same time to photos, there does not seem to be any option to do this (such as when you’re trying to save a bunch of photos from an SD card into photos).

This seems like a huge oversight and hopefully it will be fixed in the next beta.

Open photo you want to save, click on down arrow next to the file name, save to photos.

I’ve tried everything to do this. The option is gone.


Tried to use a shortcut to move photos from files, but no luck.

The issue is getting multiple photos to transfer from files to photos.
