Can't send emails?!

Using both my gmail and exchange account for work I have tried sending emails from my iPhone but after hitting send nothing happens, not sent, not sitting in the outbox or the sent items???

Anyone else getting this?

Do I need to delete the account and recreate?

try deleting the mail accounting and recreating it then

and make sure you have a data connection

Also, load a few screenshots. Something might give a hint to someone in the forum, that maybe you do not see. Just a thought...
