Can't send MMS using Messages app on Yosemite anymore

Used to work fine, upgraded to Yosemite, and now when I drag and drop a picture or GIF into the conversation box, it just stays there. I can't even hit enter. Suprisingly, the imessages and even text messages come up fine, i just cant send MMS, and I can still receive them though.

anyone know how to fix this?
