Can't send .rsrc file

Hello there,
I am having trouble sending a .rsrc file. First, I tried sending it through Adium. When it wouldn't upload, I sent it as a zip file. When the receiver couldn't unzip it, I tried sending it unzipped with Hotmail, Gmail, and Yahoo. All three complained about the file being too small to attach.

Is there anyway to send .rsrc files?

you could try changing the extension from .rsrc to .jpg or something of that nature and have the receiver change it back.
