I want to set an alarm for Thursday morning. But it seems as though I can only set one for tomorrow (Wednesday). Just another knuckle-headed limitation?

“Alarms” are daily items. If you want an alert for a specific time & day, set it up either in the Reminders app or the Calendar app.
