Hey macforums! I'm new to this site  . anyway, when I log out of gmail and want to sign in on a different gmail account, the area where one usually types the username is always filled with the original account and I cannot edit the box containing the username. there is a button that says "Sign in as different user". (this is all on safari by the way). When i click the "sign in as different user" it just refreshes the page and my original email is still in the username box. the same thing happens with youtube. my only solution to this problem is clearing all my cookies, but as soon as i log in again it happens again. what is my next move?

Use firefox :D Actually, it would be a good idea to try it in a different browser (firefox or chrome) and see if you have the same issue

At that point, you should be able to edit the information in the boxes. I do this all the time, as I have multiple Gmail accounts.
Use firefox :D
The solution to every web-related issue is NOT to use Firefox. I haven't touched FF for over 2 years, and, like millions of Safari users, I have no problems using Safari.

It's true, safari is good enough for me :)

I only use google chrome on school pc's because the teachers aren't very tech savvy. They all use IE as default, and I utterly detest it so I just download google chrome!

So far I've downloaded it onto about 10 computers. Just another 300 or so to go! :D

Anyway, back on topic... If worst comes to worst, you could use one browser for either gmail or youtube, and the other for the other and everything else.

[doublepost=1500884760][/doublepost]In Safari when I sign out I am given the option of signing in with my account or my wife's account, Chrome doesn't give me that option, in fact there is no way anybody other than myself who can sign in.
