Not sure but after upgrading to El Capitan, ads are once again showing up in youtube and there's no option to skip. I have been using uBlock and another adblocker prior and it worked well. No ads where ever played before watching a video. But now I often get these annoying commercials again with youtube. Does anyone know how to permanently block them?

I use Adblock + and to block ads on Youtube, I have to use Firefox. Blocking ads in Safari doesn't work for YouTube on any of my computers.

Well finally working now after updating uBlock to 0.9.5.2. Tired of all those ads and popups on my youtube videos.

is uBlock the best extension for safari to block ads or is there something better? I'm looking for something that will work well with OS X El Capitan.
