Anyone else having this issue as well? Power + Home just takes a screenshot no matter how long it's held down. Can't get the phone to reset. iPhone 6S if that matters

Works for me. Try letting the phone die? Or try changing language or region cause it kinda resets the phone then try to do soft reset. Or turn it off the normal way and see if that fixes it when you turn it back on

So weird lol. None of that fixed it lol. Not a huge problem, just a good ol' beta bug haha

Just so you know thats a hard reset. Soft reset is just powering off then back on by sliding to turn off.

But to the bug you are facing. In the large iOS 10 thread, there has been mention of this with various outcomes. It works normal for some, others get the screenshot and after 10 seconds of continuous holding it reboots and then others just like you. I'm sure beta 2 will address it.

Press and hold the Power button first for about 1 second before introducing the press and hold on the Home button.

It won't take a screenshot, you'll briefly see Siri activate and the power down "slide to turn off" screen but it will work as it's always done and the Apple Logo will appear soon after.

It works for me. One time it took a screen shot... but I held the buttons down, and even after the screen shot, it restarted the phone.

Hold it down a bit longer. Mine shoots a screenshot and then the slide to turn-off, then the reset.
What he said!

You can avoid the whole screenshot being taken by the steps I mention a few post up.

Press and hold the Power button. Wait about 1 second before pressing and holding the Home button.

This way you don't have to delete screenshots.
