Can't store local TV/ Movie/Music files?

Really? This seems so odd and not something I would have even thought to ask pre-purchase. I picked up the 64GB version to store all of my sons movies and...I can't. Why so much space - for apps?

Really where? Because I have been looking everywhere for this info... Also MacRumors says it does....

If we can't then 32 GB will be enough for me (going to pick it up on Wednesday for my Bday) but if we can 64 GB will be the obvious option...
