iPod touch Cant sync apps, "ipod not authorized" for account

Every time I try to sync an app like AIM I downloaded from itunes it says the ipod is not authorized to be used with it. How do I authorize it? I only have one itunes account and have signed on with both the ipod and the computer (I have successfully downloaded and installed apps using the ipod, but cant sync them to the computer)

I had this problem as well. What you do is inside of iTunes go to the menu bar at the top and click store, then go to authorize computer under that list. Then it will ask you for your username and password so input those and it should let you know when you have completed the authorization. Hope that helped.
