Tried doing a clean install of the beta but contacts wouldn't sync with iCloud or Google. Anyone seeing something similar?

I did a clean install on pad pro 9.7 and it worked synced fine, you can try a full reboot/respring
hold home and power in until you see the apple logo, approx. 4-5 seconds ONLY!!

Same happened to me. Just go into iCloud settings and toggle the switch for contacts off then on.
