Can’t sync iphone on white macbook 2010

I am trying to get all my old music on my old macbook and no option to sync.
I updated and restarted nothing in itunes with option to sync

Hmm, can be when software (macOS or Mac OS X) on your Mac is older than your iPhone, which means it can't recognize it properly.
You can transfer it manually into Windows PC and try from there (if songs are on the cloud then simply install iTunes on Windows PC and give it a try)

Yes it’s high sierra and my iphone is a 13 max .music is all downloaded from a cd into macbook =[
