I updated my iPhone 7+, iPad mini 5 and iPhone 13 mini this morning and I can't sync them with 13.2.1. I didn't update my Studio because of a bug with a third-party vendor on 13.3 but I have a workaround for that now (I'm using an extra M1 mini to run the program) but it's annoying that you have to be on the latest version to be able to sync mobile devices. In general, sometimes you have to be on the latest version and sometimes you don't. I was hoping to go for a run after syncing podcasts but I have to update now and then sync and then go out running. The update takes some time and sometimes that isn't convenient. I guess I should have updated my podcasts before updating the mobile devices.

You need to install updates for the software that facilitates the connection between macOS and iOS.
Open /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework/Versions/Current/Resources MobileDeviceUpdater.app and it should say you need an update.

If not, here are the packages needed:

Code:

I did the 13.3 update and the syncs went fine afterwards.

I've been through this with many releases in the past; it's just that it's annoying. I've just had some bad software version bug combinations lately which have required several software reinstallations including having to revert to older versions.

What version of iOS did you update your mobile devices to?
if iOS 17 beta this is normal as the software needed by older macOSes to connect with unreleasef iOS 17 doesn't exist yet.
