Can't synch iPhone or iPad on new MBP after migration

    I just purchased a new MBP 17" to replace an older MBP. After doing the migration, everything has been working well except when I plug in my iPad or iPhone they are not showing up in iTunes. Therefore, no synch.

    I do use MobileMe if that might be part of the problem.

    Another iPod that I have synchs fine.

    Thoughts or suggestions?

    Yup, I've tried a couple of different cables and USBs.

    Just grabbed another iPod and works fine.

    I'm really wondering if it is something with MobileMe with the iPad and iPhone and still being tied to my old MBP.

    All set. There was a software update for this exact problem. Installed and both the iPhone and iPad synced right up.
