Can't thieves just restore iOS 7 in DFU mode?

No matter what you MUST have the original owners user name and password to get around the lock. If there were a way around it, the whole thing would serve no purpose!

By following steps of a youtube video i was able to turn that off. And thanks for clearing me. I wont restore it. I can use it to play games atleast :)
