I hope someone can help with this.

I've got 2 wifi networks that i use in my flat. I like to use the right one depending on what part of the flat i'm in to get the best signal. They are both password protected. Lately i haven't been able to connect to one of them. When i choose it from the list of networks in airport, it just pulses the icon in the menu bar and then reverts back to the other network which has a worse signal when i am in that part of the flat. When i try to access other locked networks i get a pop up asking to enter password. But with my own network i don't get this pop up - just the pulsing icon.

Further i can't even turn off airport. I try to turn it off in system preferences by pressing the turn off airport button but nothing happens.

Macbook white. mid 2009 version. using snow leopard.

edit: now i can't connect to either of my networks, getting connection failed notices. I know the networks are still working because my housemates can still connect with their laptops. Help!!!!!!!

    Can anyone figure this out?

    Thanks in advance
