Can't Uninstall Menu Meters

I cannot uninstall menu meters 😡 I now use iStat Menus but I searched for Menu Meters in spotlight and trashed a file called "MenuMeters.prefPane" which removed Menu Meters but I cannot empty trash since the item "MenuCracker" is in use. Help would be hugely appreciated Thanks in advance

Right-Click on the MenuMeters Preference Pane, select remove, restart computer, done.

Did you try restarting the system? Also you can try to securely empty the trash to get rid of the "file in use" problem. This option has worked for me in the past.

Its gone. After moving the file out of the preference pane folder I then restarted then deleted. I was then able to empty trash completely.
